Interactive ultrasonic electronic installation

A pair of mostly identical clocks – twins, which slow down or speed up the time based on the motion of people in the surrounding space. Approaching the clock accelerates the time and vice versa. The acceleration is accompanied by a sound. All in all, this is a unique ultrasound clock operating on the principle of the theory of relativity.

Originally, the twins were intended to be totally identical and exact. Rather coincidentally, one of the twins has become a “younger ill brother”. The data it shows is not completely exact due to an unknown error. Despite of being placed together in an empty room, a highly sensitive sonar causes the initiation of an unpredictable mutual communication between the twins. This might be also called an argument between the twins.
